So I wonder how many people actually believed my entire write-up regarding the inspection. Want to hear how it really went down? Well, I had made muffins- but they had been out of the oven for about 45 minutes. I had coffee ready. I was wearing some nice brown Gap pants with a sweet Gap shirt. Jason was wearing some nice khaki pants and a button-down blue shirt (I think). I don't recall for sure, but I think we were both wearing socks. There was no pipe in Jason's hand. And ten minutes prior to the estimated arrival time of our social worker (she's two hours away), I was a wreck. Couldn't sit still. Clapping my hands a lot. Rubbing the sweat off my palms. Driving my husband INSANE. By the time our social worker walked in, I had to tell her right away how nervous I was so she would understand if I started to babble. Oh- and she didn't say we were the best ever about-to-be parents she had ever met. But I'd like to think she thought it. ;-)
As for Jason and his present... I ended up getting him a Putumayo cd- acoustic Africa. I think he would highly recommend it.

AHHHH,I can't believe you had a normal homestudy visit.Did you exhale really big when the social worker left?
I made cookies - but muffins are a really nice touch. :) Glad it's over with!
"Oh- and she didn't say we were the best ever about-to-be parents she had ever met. But I'd like to think she thought it." ... I'm sure she did!!
Glad your first homestudy went great!
I completely think she thought that!! :)
And, did someone actually believe you?
I don't know about you, but after our homestudy visit I thought "that's it?".
I don't know why I stressed so much!
You are lucky. During our home visit I had a HORRIBLE stomach virus. I spent 2 hours fighting the urge to puke. I spent two days home from work after that night. I guess that is one to tell the grandkids...
I'd love to see some silly pics! and-we have to work all week except Friday next week. We're a Christian school and we have Good Friday off...
so, it's still like a full work week...sort of... ;)
Ha ha! I KNEW you didn't wear heels! :) I didn't even make anything for our social worker! Amazingly, we passed. Hopefully, your home study will be finished soon!
