As of 9p.m. last night, it became official. The plane tickets were purchased, the confirmation email sent this morning. Blog Union, here I come! Now if I can only find my thong bikini....

- My beloved and I live in a sweet little town nestled in the Rocky Mountains. I love snow, red wine, the smell of baking bread, aspen leaves in the autumn, being a vegetarian, the sound of a babbling brook, and the hope of becoming a mother to a child from Ethiopia. Really? You're going to the Blog Union? I'm thinking we're not going to be able to go. I hope things change, but I feel like we will have just gotten home from Ethiopia and do we really want to make our Eli's life crazy so soon? Hopefully we can make it. Everyone else is doing it, right?
